PHOTOGRAPHY GIFT VOUCHERS
A gift voucher for a family photoshoot makes a fantastic present for birthdays, Christmas or the arrival of a new baby. Gift vouchers are available from £65, which is the cost of a mini session. You can buy a higher value voucher to cover the cost of a full Family Collection photoshoot, or your recipient can top up the amount.
All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months, and digital and physical gift vouchers are available.
YOUR QUESTIONS
HOW DO I BoOK?
If you’d like to book a family photoshoot, please get in touch with your preferred dates so I can check my availability. Once we’ve found a suitable date, I will send you an email with a link to a booking form and details of how to pay the £75 non-refundable deposit. Your photoshootwill be confirmed when the deposit is paid.
WHEN DO I PAY?
A £75 non-refundable booking deposit reserves your family photoshoot date in my diary. No session is confirmed until this is received. The balance is due 2 weeks before your photoshoot.
All collections must be paid for in full before the day of the photoshoot. You are welcome to book Collection I for your family photoshoot, and you can choose to upgrade to Collection II or III after viewing your images.
What if it rains on the day of the shoot?
If it’s looking like it might rain on the day of your shoot I’ll be in touch a few days before so we can consider the options.
Some children are quite happy outside whatever the weather, and we can head for locations where the trees offer a bit of shelter from the rain. Other children don’t enjoy spending time outside when it’s raining, and we might decide it’s better to rearrange, or even move the shoot by a couple of hours to a drier part of the day.
Sometimes, it’s not possible to move the shoot to another day, for example where families are travelling long distances to get together. In this scenario I advise when booking that you think about back up locations should it rain – perhaps someones house or a local hotel.
What if my children aren't good at standing still?
Photoshoots are designed to be fun for everyone, children as well as adults. I’m the mum of two young (and very active!) boys, and I’ve got a whole collection of tricks to keep children of all ages engaged in the photoshoot. For most photoshoots we move around a lot, the children will be running and climbing. There will be spinning, cuddling and playing, the children probably won’t even notice the few seconds where they’re stood still and looking at the camera as they’ll still be smiling from all the fun they’re having.
WHEN WILL I SEE MY IMAGES?
Your images will be available to view within 2 weeks of the photoshoot. When your gallery is ready I’ll email you a link to a your gallery so you can see and download your images.
Do You OFfer any other Family Photoshoots?
Most of the family photoshoots I offer are covered by the information on this page.
As well as this, each year I hold mini photoshoots. These take place at specific times of the year and for specific events, such as Mother’s Day, bluebells and autumn. These are perfect if you want to top up your photos a few times a year, or if you’re trying family photography for the first time. I shoot several mini sessions in one day and each session lasts around 20 minutes so there are fewer images to choose from than in my full photoshoots.

During the summer months, I also run midweek photo mornings at Hill Farm Barn, near Northchurch. These are very relaxed sessions for pre-schoolers to get some photos and have a play in the lovely gardens at Hill Farm Barn. Follow me on instagram to keep upto date with the next dates for the photo mornings.
Alternatively, you are welcome to split a full Family Collection photoshoot with friends or family. The same session time and package details will apply, but I’m happy for you to share the session with any number of people.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH FAMILY events?
Absolutely! Birthday parties and family gatherings offer great photo opportunities, and I love capturing the very special milestone of a child’s christening or naming day.
You can book any of the Family Collection photoshoots (detailed above) to capture your special event. The price remains the same, if you need more time you can book extra photography for £100 an hour.
We can spend the time as you choose. You might like me to capture some photographs of everyone together at the start and then move on to smaller groups, for example all the grandchildren together. I’m always happy to talk about any particular images you would like.
