Where do the shoots take place?
Within 48 hours of booking you will receive an email acknowledging your booking, and with further information about the photoshoots. You will receive further information about a week before your shoot, including detailed directions to the locations. Classic Christmas shoots take place in the Ashridge Estate (near Berkhamsted), the Santa Experience takes place in Potten End (also near Berkhamsted). Both locations require a car to access them.
What should we wear?
For both sessions, I recommend festive colours like red, green, or gold. Photos of the sets are available on my instagram page. For the classic Christmas sessions you may bring one change of clothes, please note that changing outfits will reduce the time available for taking photos.
Can we bring props?
Absolutely! Feel free to bring a special ornament, gift, or festive prop to personalise your photos. Bringing a favourite teddy works brilliantly for children, and the more santa hats the better!
How long does it take to receive our photos?
You’ll receive a gallery link with your edited images about 10 days after your session. I work hard to get your photos to you as soon as possible, and will let you know as soon as they are ready.
How many photos do we get?
Each gallery will contain 5 – 10 images for you to view. 3 images are included with your booking, you are welcome to choose additional images from your gallery.
How much are extra photos?
3 digital images, which you select from your personal gallery, are included with your booking. Additional images are available 1 image – £35, full gallery (most popular option) £100.
What if my child is scared of Santa?
Both Santa and myself are experienced at working with children who can be nervous and will take a gentle approach. We encourage parents to participate, and have all sorts of games and activities to build a child’s confidence. 30 minutes between sessions means we have plenty of time to move at the pace your child is happy with. Â
Can two families share one session?
Shared sessions are possible in some cases, but please contact me before booking. Two families, each with one child, may be able to share a single session. For larger groups, such as cousins or friends, I recommend booking consecutive sessions. This allows us to capture individual family photos and then shoot joint photos in between sessions.
Do you offer group bookings?
Yes! If you’re planning an NCT Christmas party or have a group of 4 or more families looking to arrange festive photo sessions for your little ones, let’s chat. We can discuss group bookings at your location or ours. These sessions are perfect for creating shared memories and can often be more cost-effective. Please get in touch to discuss your specific needs.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
Sessions are non-refundable. If you need to cancel and I am able to re-sell your time slot, I may be able to offer a partial refund, minus a £25 admin fee. If you or your little one is ill please contact me as soon as possible to discuss the options – we may be able to move your session to another day.
