A maternity photoshoot is perfect to mark the moment just before your baby arrives — before the sleepless nights, the tiny clothes everywhere, and the complete rearrangement of everything you thought you knew.

I offer two ways to capture this chapter, depending on whether you would like a relaxed, personalised photoshoot or just a few beautiful photographs of your bump.

Enjoy taking the time to celebrate your pregnancy, and create natural photographs of you, your bump and the people you love.

  • A 30 minute session – Outdoors at a location we choose together, or in my home studio in Berkhamsted
  • 3 edited digital images, chosen from a gallery of about 10
  • The option to upgrade to your full gallery (3100)
  • Print release included — download, share, and order prints directly
  • Available mid-week (including evenings) or occasional weekends

These sessions are arranged directly with me so that we can choose the right location, timing and style for you.

BEFORE BABY SUPER MINI SHOOT

A quick and easy way to make sure you have a few beautiful photographs of your bump before your baby arrives.

  • A 10-minute outdoor photoshoot
  • Held on selected dates at a set local location

  • If you also book a newborn photoshoot, I’ll deduct the £25 from the cost of your newborn session.

WHEN TO BOOK

Your MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOT

Most people book their photoshoot to take place between 28 and 36 weeks. This window is ideal as the bump is properly showing, and you’re still comfortable enough to enjoy the session. That said, there’s no strict window. If you’re further along and want to squeeze one in, get in touch and we’ll make it work.

NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT

Many of my maternity clients return for a newborn photoshoot so that we can capture the next chapter too.

Book a maternity photoshoot and newborn photoshoot together and I’ll upgrade your maternity session to include the full gallery. Alternatively, your £25 Before Baby Super Mini is free when you book a newborn photoshoot.

Lyndsey photographed both of my bumps — the first as we prepared to become parents, and the second before we became a family of four. She captured two special chapters in our family’s story and gave us beautiful photographs that we’ll always treasure. My partner and I aren’t naturally comfortable in front of the camera, but Lyndsey put us completely at ease and we even enjoyed having the photographs taken!

QUESTIONS

Wear something you genuinely feel good in. Some people choose a fitted dress that shows off their bump, while others prefer jeans and a favourite top. If your partner or children are joining you, aim to coordinate rather than match. I’ll send you my full style guide before your session and I’m always happy to help with outfit choices.

Absolutely — outdoor maternity photoshoots work well. If you’ve got a favourite local spot we can use that, or I can suggest somewhere. Maternity photoshoots work well at Ashridge, or many other local locations. For something more intimate, I also have a home studio space in Berkhamsted.
